Nuance Shower Boards Problems
When considering a bathroom revamp, aesthetic appeal, durability, and ease of installation are often at the forefront of most homeowners’ minds. Among the popular alternatives to traditional bathroom tiles is the Nuance Bushboard panel series, touted for its modern designs and functionality. However, as with many products, the practical experience of using these panels can sometimes contrast with the marketed allure.
The Draw of Nuance Bushboard Panels
Many homeowners have been drawn to the Nuance Bushboard panel series because of its fresh designs, specifically the ‘Satnas Marble Tile’ effect and the ‘Estremoz tile’. The promise of these panels is a sleek and contemporary feel for bathrooms, replacing the oftentimes labor-intensive installation of tiles.
Issues with Nuance Bushboard Panels
However, not everything about these panels has garnered positive feedback. Some customers have reported issues such as mismatched grout lines, inconsistent shading, and variations in board designs, potentially stemming from manufacturing problems the previous year. Such discrepancies, especially in a product meant to provide a seamless aesthetic appeal, can lead to significant disappointment.
Moreover, potential customers may find it challenging to get a clear idea of what the product truly looks like. Reports have emerged of inconsistent sampling methods, with some designs being represented by mere printed card samples instead of actual material samples. This could lead to discrepancies between expectation and reality when the product is finally in hand.
Considering Alternatives
Given the experiences shared by past users, it’s crucial for potential buyers to weigh their options carefully. While the Nuance Bushboard panel series does have its attractive designs, ensuring that what you see is what you get is paramount. There are many other brands available in the market, and it may be wise to explore these alternatives before committing to a decision.
Concluding Thoughts
In any home renovation project, research and due diligence are vital. When it comes to bathroom renovations, in particular, achieving the desired look and feel is a combination of the right products and skilled installation. Whether you decide to go with Nuance Bushboard panels or another brand, it’s always best to ensure you have as much information as possible to avoid potential pitfalls and ensure satisfaction with the end result.
I have just purchased some Nuance Bushboards for a new build project. The plumber was unhappy to fit the boards without corner joints, so acquired 11mm cornerjoints from a local supplier. The boards turned out to be thicker than the advertised 11mm, and do not fit in the corner joints. Nuance appear to have closed for Christmas, (20th December) and cannot sort the issue until January.
